The origins of the "Martisor" holiday aren't known precisely, but in the present, the small decorative gift object named "martisor" is worn in the entire month of March, as a sign of the coming of spring. It is a tradition in Romania and in the neighboring territories: the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia.
